Wacky SCO folks say GPL is bunk

SCO, in its reply to IBM's suit, has basically declared that they believe that the GPL is bunk and that therefore they don't need to follow it, according to an article from net legal site, Groklaw.

According to the interpretation by the folks at Groklaw, the SCO folks would like us to all acknowledge that everything developed under the GPL is in the public domain and that the only people with intellectual property rights are basically SCO.

They further claim that Novell sold all of the rights to UNIX and that in some special way Linux is actually UNIX because it kinda looks like it (somehow they think they can persevere with this argument despite the previous BSD rulings?).

Next volley: IBM.
