With all of the discussion around these days about The Santa Cruz Organization (SCO) suing people over using bits of UnixWare in their Linux, at least one company, SuSE is claiming that they have an existing cross-license agreement with SCO that will protect them from the legal assaults.
According to an article on CNet, the company entered into a joint development agreement with SCO and two other developers.
Also in this article is a quote mentioning the difficulties of proving that small bits of code were copied in court, which SCO will need to do if they want to prevail in a legal argument.
