I found a pointer to the Stupid Security web site earlier this week, but hadn't had sufficient time to check it out. Now that I have, I'll recommend it as an interesting (and sometimes frightening) read.

StupidSecurity is a site about all things silly related to security, but seems to have quite a bit of stuff related to stories about airport security personnel being either overcautious or just plain negligent.

It isn't limited to the US, either, there are comments about international airports in major Western European countries trying to secure and airport with nine people...

Further, there don't stop with airports and physical stupidity (ahem, I meant security), but also deal with the computer industry and some of the ridiculous policies used by credit card companies and banks.
