Sound of stop watch clicking
Almost two weeks. I can't believe it took that long.
A little less than two weeks into the new era of Apple's iTunes, the first service to act as a clearing house for iTunes 4 servers is now up and running on SpyMac site, under the name of SpyMac Music.
The basic idea is that it keeps track of user's machines that are running the iTunes shared music service. The service also keeps track of which tunes are available on which servers.
However, since iTunes only allows playing of music over the iTunes connections, the theory is that they won't be attacked by Apple or the RIAA.
