Raindog Records (a subsidiary of Oasis CD Manufacturing) has just announced a service for independent musicians who want to get on to Apple's iTunes Music Service.
The package includes everything from getting the data into the right formats to clearing albums (except for cover tunes) straight through to the service via their feed mechanism. All-in-all, it sounds like an interesting opportunity for artists.
In addition, the company can produce CDs for retail or venue sales and will submit music to the fingerprinting databases so that piracy monitoring software that uses them can watch for the artist's tunes.
