Those of us with an affinity for the Python programming language will be happy to hear that version 2.3 has now been officially released.
For Macintosh users, the number of fixes is large, and you can get the MacPython install today, or grab your own copy of the source to make the UNIX only version for running under OSX.
Hopefully, Apple will be including it in OS X Panther (10.3) "before the end of the year".
For the non-Mac users, there are binary and source distributions available, including the Windows version, complete with IDE.
