Oracle reportedly working on Free version

Oracle, the biggest name in commercial databases, is preparing a new version Oracle 10g Express Edition for free use by users who would otherwise go to Open Source solutions (such as MySQL or PostgreSQL).

The new version, to ship by the end of the year according to an article from News.com, is limited to servers with 1GB of RAM, and the article states, 4GB of disk, but I'm sure they mean databases w/4GB of space, or at least through some partitioning, since the only place you can by 4GB and less drives is with flash or off eBay.
