In May of 2002, I sold my 15" PowerBook to a lady named Jenny Hedley (a transplanted Californian living in New Zealand at the time). She had purchased it to work on a surf film "by women and for women." I emailed back and forth with her over a couple of months giving her tips on how to use Final Cut Pro and iMovie and providing her some FireWire help, but hadn't heard from her in about nine months until last night.

Last night I received an announcement that her new film, SURFabout: down under is being premiered this coming Saturday at Action Girl Sports.

The film is going to be available "soon" for purchase from CustomFlix (a kind of burn-on-demand vanity press for movies) in both DVD and VHS formats.
