It's the 24th of January and that means the 20th anniversary of the day that changed desktop computing. OK, it might sound like an exaggeration, but it is important to remember that Windows wasn't really a force until after the Macintosh had been out for a while (1.0 was released in November of 1985). Apple's posted the original Superbowl ad (with a slight change), so we can all remember "why 1984 won't be like 1984."
