An article from Wired reports that, thanks to new terrorist threats that the government has heard about, we'll all be waiting longer at the airports and that our laptops and other personal electronic devices are going to be subject to more intrusive testing.
I searched the TSA website and couldn't find any new official rules, but the article indicates that security checkpoint times are up another 10 minutes or so due to the more stringent security measures.
However, I did find an interesting news release by the TSA about finding a loaded handgun inside of a teddy bear carried on board by a 10 -year-old child. Sadly, there were no pictures of the X-ray images that led to the detention of the bear.
