A Reuters report carried by iWon states that LinuxTag (a German lobbying organization whose name means "Linux day") has requested that SCO provide specifics on their claims of infringement or retract the claims otherwise LinuxTag will take them to court in Germany.

The crux of the case is that SCO is spreading uncertainty and that uncertainty is bad for business and for customers, and if the case isn't substantiated that the Germany courts might compel them to retract their threats against users of the open source operating system.
