Garmin, makers of fine GPS products, has announced the shipment of a new combination GPS and PDA named the iQue3600.
The device is PalmOS-based and thus will run some software from other vendors, but it seems a bit crippled with only 32MB of RAM and no built-in wireless of any sort (Bluetooth or 802.11).
Of interest are the wide range of base maps (North America, Atlantic, and Pacific) as well as the European and Northern American CitySelect database that are included with the device. Just in map cost alone, this device is an interesting purchase.
Further, it includes voice navigation, which can speak directions while you are driving or walking to your destination.
MSRP is $589.
