A very interesting article appears in tomorrow's Washington Post about Howard Dean, the Internet, Nobel Prize winning economist Ronald Coase, and possible changes in our two-party system.
The article reflects many ideas discussed here about disintermediation, including the reduction in organization size due to the Internet (little did I know that I was stealing stuff from a Nobel prize winner).
It's unclear whether the predictions will come true, but it cannot be disputed that Howard Dean is a phenomenon that we haven't seen before and would not have seen without the Internet.
