Intel has officially announced that the Centrino chips are only compatible with five particular pieces of VPN software and only then when you turn off the "Adapter Switching" feature of the chipset, Wired reports. If you don't turn that off or you use another piece of software, be prepared for the Blue Screen of Death.
The adapter switching software automatically changes your WEP keys and other configuration parameters when you move from one network to another (assuming you have the right security privileges to have access to the new network).
Score another one for the folks at Apple who seem to have had this one solved since day 1 of the Airport.
