In an unanticipated move, Case Western Reserve University has announced that they are opening their expanding network of 1200 access points to the public.
In the press release, CWRU states that access will be available from the campus and the University Circle neighborhood, (containing institutions such as the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, and other cultural and educational resources).
The program appears to create one of the largest free WiFi networks in the US if not the world.
