With a big "hi" to Todd and Paula, now residing in Texas, we turn our heads once again to the state who's Democrats have made running from office a new pastime.

According to an article in the Washington Post, this week's exodus was a rather elaborate affair involving private jets and choreographed vans.

As with the earlier "escape," this one is aimed at preventing the Republicans from pushing through a redistricting plan that the Democrats disagree with.

Once again, the Republican governor has ordered that the state's sergeant-at- arms immediately return to the legislative chambers any Democrat who finds themselves in Texas.

It is worth noting that this time, the Democrats have decided to escape to New Mexico instead of Oklahoma.
