The new Apple store in New York City (just off of Central Park) is being opened to the public today, and it's the last chance for the store to rest until it is shut down, if Apple keeps with their intention to run it 24x7x365. Pictures of the large glass cube that is its only above-ground presence can be seen as part of a slideshow shot by a photographer during press day yesterday. Is it just me, or does opening an underground store with a glass cube at its entrance on the same day that a movie comes out which begins in a museum with a glass pyramid over its underground entrance sound like something other than a coincidence?
